Exit 77 is known as the business gateway to Chehalis Valley (trade area population 48,000+) and Lewis County seat. W. Main Street connects to Market Blvd. to the east, and serves as the north-south arterial through Chehalis’ central business district. Zoned Commercial Freeway, exit 77 is fed from State Hwy 6 west to Washington’s ocean beaches and the historic Chehalis River Bridge in Aberdeen, WA.

2007 average daily traffic volume for exit 77 was 64,000 vehicles per day. Increased residential development to the west of exit 77 in the communities of Adna, Boistfort, and PeEll continue to feed the commercial business traffic coming into Chehalis.

With the future expansion of the Chehalis-Centralia I-5 corridor. Exit 77 will remain as a pivotal and growing traffic arterial serving the southern Twin Cities (Centralia & Chehalis)
